Because the board got shutdown again because of a load of database, I had to fettle with the settings again.
As part of that, the server no longer stores what topics you have or haven't read.
IT IS STILL RECORDED!
But now, that information lives in a delicious cookie, rather than the forum database.

Upside: this should reduce the load of database.
Downside: if you use multiple devices to access the board, or you reject delicious cookies, you won't always have that information cookie. But the New Posts feature should take care of that.

***SPOILER!***

Go to work and work.
Go to work, go out the emergency exit and jump.
Go to work without getting dressed and get fired.
While driving to work, get out of the car, walk out of frame and bond with the cow.
While going to work, wait under the tree and catch the leaf.
Go left when you come out of the building and go with the bum.
When you have done all that, the wife and the elevator lady will not be there. Go to work and walk out the emergency exit again.

Those are all the things I found to do to get to what I assume was the end (went back to the "Click to start" bit from there). Didn't do them in that order, though.
If there were absolutely anything to be afraid of, don't you think I would have worn pants?

I said I have a big stick.

Note: Keep trying. There is an ending.
Interesting ending. If I had to think up a meaning for it, it's supposed to symbolize him starting a brand new life and leaving every bit behind.

Insofar as I can tell, the whole point of the game is to jump. I caught the leaf, went with the bum to the cemetery... In the end all there is is the cubicle. So I jump.

I think it's maybe a statement on suicide...if you kill yourself, you'll end up in a bleak and lonely world where the only other person is you, while you are killing yourself, for you to watch.

The cool thing about this is it makes you think, and spurs discussion.
Case in point: Dergolgo, you are wrong.

SPOILERS AHOY:

The people disappear after you've completed all the steps, jump on day one and everyone is still there on day 2. And all the office drones look identical, so it's not necessarily you.

How about this: You're stuck following the same routine every day and you keep looking for a way out. You may find little ways you can subvert it but in the end nothing changes. Even death is no escape. Everyone else seems content with their place until the end when they're all gone, and the only one you see is leaping to his death. So all along everyone else has been doing the same as you, trying to get out.

That makes a heck of a lot more sense.

I was reminded of "What dreams may come" and that suicide thing just slotted right in there.
