I want to upload a new avatar to the site, and was wondering if anyone had a site I could host it off of? I don't currently have anything that will work.

Photobucket.com is free and will allow you to tag/link to it so other PhP/BBS sites can view your photo(s). It also has an image editor that allows you to shrink photos that are too large for your purposes. Or, you could change your profile by deleting your current avatar and uploading a new one.

Photobucket wasn't accepting new free members as of yesterday... Something about upgrading the system. Hopefully they will again soon!
