Some may remember a couple months ago I found out about an old group of friends, ex-friends and ex-girlfriend types were getting together in my hometown (http://www.utmc-forum.org/pub/viewtopic ... pportunity).

I'll have you all know that I took my family to my parents' to see the other half of my family and spent about five hours hanging out and chatting with aforementioned gang of ne'er do-wells.
Crazy ex-Ranger-guy-who-beat-me-up didn't show, and neither did my crazy ex-girlfriend, so I didn't get to interview her face to face why on earth she sends me friend requests on facebook. All in all a successful evening.
Lots of them are still losers, the scariest guy is still scary and even bigger and meaner, the funniest guy was a roadie for a few years and now owns a contracting business but is missing a finger from a tablesaw encounter.

It was a wierd evening, for sure, but I don't regret going. It was fun enough. The rest of the week was great, taking time off from working and spending time with my family and some friends from another circle, reaffirming my thoughts that I made a bunch of right decisions long ago and while some were difficult, even dicey, I did the right thing and am the better person for it.
