String'em up.
As someone who suffered with undiagnosed type I diabetes for about 6-8 months before being diagnosed at the age of 10 I can't begin to express how incensed this makes me.

Yeah, the old "freedom of religion" defense.
It's amazes me every fucking time when people actually think they can get away with something because it's part of their "spirituality".
I hope that cunt, whenever her time comes, dies cold, alone, in the dark. And in her last moment realizes that that really is the end, that no big invisible friend in the sky will take her to a land of fluffy bunnies and chocolate. And realizes the full implications that this has on the life she led, that all her fucking "spirituality" was meaningless and that she squandered her once chance by following an evil delusion.

I'm not sure it's going to work in this instance. I hope she sincerely repents of her sins, begging the forgiveness of both God and her child.
I've never understood the "God will cure us" people. They don't expect God to just magically give them food, clothing, and shelter. When the frig was empty, I'm sure this woman went to the supermarket. She didn't get on her knees in the kitchen in the vain hope that God was going to stock the frig in His spare time. She probably drove a car, not expecting the Almighty to whisk her from place to place on a river of angels. Why not doctors?
Pray, sure. But get your kid to a doctor as well. Sad all around.
