apparently, this company wants you to stop using plastic bottles and buy their expensive canteen, cause y'know- they're fashionable. and they have a pocket for your iPhone.

I still have my grandfather's old Wehrmacht canteen lying around someplace, would that be considered "chic"?
It doesn't have a bag for an ipod, though...

i think you my have something there, i have one of those little slender ammo cans that i put a shoulder strap on and wore as a purse, if that wasnt the chic-est thing you have ever seen on a person, i dont know what is! LOL!!! it was damn sexy.
i think chic is gauged by the level of uncomfortable something is and it was really uncomfortable to carry around an ammo can, so i think that must have been pretty vogue worthy.
That description reminds me of the craze for gasmask-cans as purses I observed back in childhood. That kind of thing:
That ammo-can sounds way more uncomfortable, though.
