Apparently giant robots (this was also built by this gentleman) weren't enough for him.

All hail our new overlord! Hail, dammit, or be exploded from the inside!

Yes. It is for exploding "items" from the inside out. There is nothing sinister about this. The Hand Claw is a three-fingered aluminum claw made to be worn by a human operator--a prototypical example of wearable robotics. Though originally made to be run by a self-contained hydraulic backpack, this claw has lately seen action as a compressed air-driven device. The claw tips are uniquely designed to be able to punch into an object, such as a TV tube, with the claw in the closed position, and then by opening the claw, explode the item from the inside out. This claw has also proven to be a versatile attachment for various mobile machines.
