1,784 billion, trillion dollars... plus infinity.

A disgruntled New Yorker is suing the Bank of America for "1,784 billion, trillion dollars." It gets weirder: The suit, filed by Dalton Chiscolm last month, is being reviewed by the same federal judge who sentenced Bernard Madoff to a 150-year prison sentence. Judge Denny Chin has called the lawsuit "incomprehensible" and demanded that Chiscolm explain his claims, and elaborate on charges that he received "inconsistent information from a 'Spanish woman" reached by phone at the bank.

When he filed the lawsuit, Chilsom also demanded that the money be deposited into his account the next day, plus an additional $200,164,000. Go ahead and laugh, but if Chiscolm pulls this off, he'll be living large; the sum dwarfs the world's 2008 gross domestic product of $60 trillion. NYU mathematician Sylvain Cappell tells Reuters, "These are the kind of numbers you deal with only on a cosmic scale. If he thinks Bank of America has branches on every planet in the cosmos, then it might start to make some sense."

sounds like some of the demands I receive from Plaintiff's attorneys. Hehehe, guess that's the fun part of this job. Cluing people into the reality that their hurts really aren't worth that much when their claims are frivolous.

He'll be laughed out of court, as he deserves to be.

exactly how much IS the worlds most expensive shower curtain rod :)
I think it was about $140,000.00 in legal fees. Yes, I still have the towel rod mounted in my office with the plaque given to me by opposing counsel. Ironically, my client was just going to throw it out anyway.
