So, I am a man who loves some grilled meat and sauce. I found this little gem the other day at the grocery store and I have to say it is one of the better sauces that I have ever had and I needed to share it with you all.

Famous Dave's Apricot Bourbon BBQ Sauce.

it is some very fine sauce for chicken, it has a bit more kick than I would have expected from a 'fruity' sauce. Definite must try if you like good BBQ sauce and are looking for something new.

Also while we are on the subject I would like to share with everyone my all time favorite BBQ sauce and rub: Cookies.

I would really like it if anyone else would share some of their favorite BBQ sauces. (remember to link to pictures, I shop with my eyes.)

You should bring "cookies" to Ragnarok. I bet some people don't shop with their eyes... but with their tummy.

It's been quite a while since I've been there, but Curtis' has a sauce.

Curtis' All American Southern Style BBQ Sauce. If you visit this link, please ignore the Rachel Ray mention. Unless you like her for some unfathomable reason.

Last time I went, Curtis was at the pit with his pet pig laying down beside his feet. Guess the pig didn't mind the porcine carnage happening just a few hooves away from him.

1 quart cider vinegar
3 quarts water
1/2 cup Texas Pete hot sauce
1 cup brown sugar, packed
black pepper to taste
1/2 cup crushed red pepper
1/2 cup molasses
1 bottle (14 oz. size) bottle ketchup

Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil "a long time until the pepper is out". Pour over cooked/smoked pulled-pork and mix well.

...tweak the amount of "texas pete" if you don't like it hot-hot-hot.
