I could be on the twisties by 2 AM, and nobody would really be out there.
Some things seem like good ideas, but they're not.
Self control is key here.

Well, nobody would be out there besides Bambi w/family and/or officer-friendly.

Bambi, yes. I was thinking about that, too.
Officer friendly? Maybe. I can't imagine it being a very heavily patrolled road late at night, even on a Saturday night.
Hidden traps and hazards like slippery patches, road damage, mud stripes on the road, fallen rocks, gravel, fog slicks, etc... Definitely.
Today I rode the same route I was itching to ride last night, and there were parts that were like an obstacle course: Go fast, lean way over, don't ride on the random mud stripe that for some reason has been painted down the road for miles, and dodge that rock in the middle of the road at the apex of the corner. But oh, not to the left, coz there's gravel on the left. Gotta go to the right towards the mud stripe and squeeze between the two while trying not to hit either.
I would have fucking wiped it had I ridden that road last night.
The recent rains and wind we've had have made it pretty gnarly in places.
