This was discussed on the local news today, being close to Boston it's Headline news here. Whatever they do, Aerosmith still owes Columbia an album under their current contract.

In my opinion, they've owed all of us an album since toys in the attic.

Fuck their phone it in half-assed albums and bubblegum lyrics. Fuck Joe Perry for standing pat and not really making an effort as a solo artist. Fuck Steven Tyler for, well, being himself.
As far as I'm concerned, they can disappear along with the douchebags in that bad lil feet cover band, counting crows. Ask me how I really feel.

IMO, they should've drawn the line after 'Draw The Line'. That album and Rocks (my fave) had some good tunes on 'em.
