Nice, I wonder if they could have started with Tibet, and zoomed
in, to a critter, then cellular, molecular, atomic, subatomic.
Maybe there are other universes out beyond or light horizon.
Love this stuff.

There is NO way that World Wind or Google Earth won't feature this sooner or later.
And eventually, many decades from now, Google Everything will offer that zooming in thing to the sub-atomic level.
And a few years after that, in real time, too.

I think Mr. Heisenberg would have something to say about that.

If it shows me a probability cloud, that'll be sufficient.
Also, I think old Heisenberg is vastly overrated. A critical mass of 10 tons, indeed!

"My God, it's full of stars..."
Utterly fascinating, and yet, the realization that we are dust-mites with telescopes, that's why we know this.

I'm not sure that he would.

Right where Cosmos left off
. . . and the music hasn't changed a single bit
But seriously, this stuff always, consistently boggles my tiny brain: our galaxy has billions of stars, and our galaxy is one of billions of others.

Ridicul;ous

Nothing puts life in perspective like realizing you are a dust speck in the cosmos.
