From what i can tell (i didn't read the whole post..) it has a 5th gen engine (gear driven cams), a 6th gen tail piece, a 4th gen rear wheel, rc51 forks (sometimes, it seems), a 600rr front, and f4i sides.. how cool is that?
The thread can be seen
here
edit: didn't realize i was in the grinder.. oh well..

Beautiful!
I always had a lot of respect for the VFRs, but couldn't quite get excited about the total look. This is a brilliant hodge-podge!

Liquid hot sex, that VFR.
It seems as if there are a few different forks that went into that bike, not just the RC51 swap.

Looks like the first 2 pics are the original forks and wheels and later two photos are the ShÖhlins from RC51 and a later model wheels
also a new paint job including the engine case

speaking of yummy vfr's, I found this guy on the VFRD forums.
He only lives about 20 minutes from me.
It looks like a normal RWB on the face of it. After closer inspection, i would say thats one of the best vtec vfr's on the road. just look at the front end he is putting on it.
