I vote down the inclusion of the Watercourse on any restaurant list for the UTMC, on account of the meat-less nature (although it is still the only place I've ever met tofu I liked).

Also, there's a Brazilian steakhouse down by Union Station that's simply stunning if you like a vast and delicious variety of meats for dinner.

College Inn for burgers.

Seriously.

They put all these fancy-ass "specialty burger" places to shame, and they're cheap too. 'Bought the only thing better is Fatburger, but only because I can get a chilli cheese burger with guacamole and a fried egg on top there. The $1 fish tacos on special weren't to shabby either.

If you are really looking for a coronary, the Fatty Melt is a burger surrounded by two sourdough grilled cheese sandwiches with sauteed onions.

I wandered into this place because it was within walking distance from where I used to live. Totally not my kind of place (which I figured by the name), but the service was fantastic regardless.

The best part: I'm extolling the virtues of these burgers to my mom a few days later. Her response: "Oh I know where that is, it's been there forever. It was the only bar in Denver when I was 18 that served 3.2. We all used to hang out there".

Score.
