Frankly, if he has a card, umm, why not just sell the bike, catch the ferry to San Francisco and travel down any major thoroughfare? There's a "medical" stoner house on every fricking corner around these here parts.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen, was watching some dude show off his medical marijuana card to Canadian customs at the border.

"Sir, from what I understand, the legal status of you carrying marijuana in California is questionable at best . . . plus, you've driven through two states and are attempting to enter another country."

"Fine then, you can just throw it away."

"Um . . . this isn't about whether or not we throw it away, it is about whether or not we arrest you."

Ultimately, he was arrested, but that primarily due to the gun under his seat.
