It was sent to a major University to be dissected and studied by biologists. It completely blew the world away and everyone had to re-write the books on the subject.
Oh wait . . . nevermind. The people who had it turned out to be hoaxsters! One of those involved was a cop, so there goes that bit of supposed credibility.

The other end of my road is dirt, and quite narrow. Trees are very close to the road down there. At night it's pretty creepy.
The only thing stopping me from dressing up like Bigfoot or some creepy big-headed alien and darting behind a tree at the last second with approaching headlights is that knowing the people around here, I'd probably get shot. Well, that and I'm only 5'-7". And I have an early bedtime.

Now that I think about it the last thing the sasquatch-pop purveyors said to the media was something along the lines of 'sure you can see it, but only after you give us a suitcase full of cash and a fully fueled airplane ready to go.'
Too bad. I used to see a sasquatch behind every tree when I was a kid.
