As a side note, the kid who wrote this is a best buy employee and best buy wants to fire him because he made this and refuses to take it down, even though best buy is never mentioned in the clip.

Nate played this for me from his HTC (Droid) phone while we were at a neighbor's cook out yesterday. Thankfully, I was sitting on the ground while watching it because I would have fallen off whatever chair I was sitting on because I was laughing so hard. I had trouble catching my breath!

And +1 for the booooooo! to BestBuy for wanting to fire this employee...it sums up what is wrong with retail employment at chain establishments in a nutshell.

HTC rules! My G1 departed the tank bag @ 65 mph, skidded quite a ways face down(!!) and there is only one scratch on the screen (thank's Pattio for picking it up) I don't have a case or a screen protector. Also Jr been using it as the hammer, baseball or a hockey puck ever since he learned how to walk, about a year now, still fucking works! I have seen iPhones crack when you look at them angry, G1 on the other hand seems to have 9 lives!

Only complaint is short battery life, I'm on it couple hours a day though.

I also love my G1 and have put it through hell with no problems.
As far as the short battery life, go to the market and download a power manager (I use Power Manager) and make sure your GPS isn't running if you're not using it.
I also recommend ShapeWriter (it's the G1 version of Swype) as it is quite jangleplatz.

As far as I can tell there is no Robot Unicorn Attack for the HTC, so for now Apple wins.
