Uh, sadly that is how people country dance EVERYWHERE outside of Texas. When I was in college, and moving further through my time in Houston, at a C&W dancehall only the fat chicks did line dances because they couldn't get partners for the two-step or jitterbug songs. Here in Florida, everyone does line dancing and ther is a line dance for every song, from the electric slide to Dirty Deeds (done dirt cheap) to Snoop Dogg music. Its sad, but somehow my wife's friends love it. I try not to laugh.

what do you mean "outside" of texas?
i saw that here a decade ago. what, you think they all 2-step to everything in this state?

well sunny, tap shoes have a solid plate fastened at the toe and heel, whereas clogging shoes have a hinged plate fore and aft. therefore allowing for much faster double tapping.
that being said i am heterosexual. one of the hottest and most fit and most flexible girls i ever dated was a clogger. her team won national champ i think four or five years running. lol.
