He joined the Gimp Club yesterday, having broken his right wrist in a cycling accident. He underwent surgery and had two pins inserted to realign/reattach his growth plate. Good kid, I broke my wrist on the same bike about nine years ago.

Glad he'll be OK. Time for a name for that bike - bonebreaker?

It's never too early to crash, just too late to avoid it. Good on yer boy for toughing it out!

Glad he's okay. Hope the hardware works out for him.
So...how's the bike? Will it be mangling another generation?

Let's just say he hasn't gotten his mind around the concept of gradual application of the front brake. The bike is one sturdy mo-fo and will see the pain of others again.

glad he's relatively ok! As a co-member, allow me to welcome him into the club. Now, no more paying dues to get in again, ya hear?

1999 Kona Blast, in Mongo Orange, upgraded to full Deore XT drivetrain. Love that pedal-bike.
