I've been a big fan of Steve Martin for years (not just The Wild and Crazy Guy stuff, but his writing like "Cruel Shoes"), so it's good to see he's still using his noodle to make me laugh.

That got me to check if they ever got around to making a CD of one of his early albums The Steve Martin Brothers I used to have it on LP, loaned it out to someone somewhere, and never got it back, and that's one I've always missed. One side is comedy. Funny, but it was the other side that I missed: all Bluegrass, and good stuff--pretty tunes. No nasallly twangy sangin, just good acoustic bluegrass--all instrumental, IIRC. He can reallly play.

Good news is it's finally on CD. Gonna git me some.
