I am calmed by thoughts that if you put enough crazy and stupid people in the same room for long enough they'll eventually either stage a brief, violent but ineffective revolution.... or eat each other. I'm hoping for the latter, but whatever gets these morons to go away is fine.
A mass of snarling sheep insisting that law, public policy and education should be based on "the bible". People using a book that they haven't read to influence policy they don't understand is one of the biggest problems with democracy. Give these fundy morons another fifty years of survival and they'll all be worshipping the bible itself, insisting that to read it is to try and read gawd's mind and that is forbidden.
I wish there was an annual holiday where religious people had to pretend that their god wasn't real, just so they could see how difficult it is to get along every other day for those of us who are done with such half-brained spookery.

I mock them now while they're still around because they'll be the reason for their own demise soon enough
(they might at least learn how to spell the very
-ism that's getting them all riled up)

No, no, that's commendable consistency. The Teabrains are anti-intellectualism, after all.
