A Bulgarian man went on a crazed rampage of epic proportions after he and a friend took some drugs to pass the time while bored.
The man, Angel Atanasov,then left the kind of bizarre trail that should be used in schools as an effective deterrent against drug usage.
Local police say that the Pazardzhik man first cut off a piece of his own penis, before doing the same to his fathers ear when the elder man came to his rescue.
He then ran onto a road naked and bleeding and stole a vehicle from an unsuspecting young woman.
He then crashed the car into a motorbike after running a red light and ran from the scene to a nearby farm where - after unsuccessfully navigating an encounter with a reluctant barn door - he set fire to a stack of hay.
This was followed by a crazed stabbing attack on a lamb, which subsequently died, before he stripped off his clothes and climbed up high voltage power lines to escape the attentions of the police who had now been called to the scene.
It seems the electricity proved more than a match for his drug addled state as a few thousand volts through his system later the police managed to overpower and arrest him.
He is now reported to be in intensive care at a local hospital.
