What's really funny to think about is the number of guys I was with in bootcamp who enlisted BECAUSE of Top Gun. If only they knew...if only they knew.

Like I need another reminder of why I love Tarantino when he's OFF camera, and silent as a snowflake.
Shut up, write, and never, ever be visible/audible.
Ever.
Thank you.
Jackie Brown was awesome.
Anything with him IN it, suffered because of it.

Oh, so THAT'S what a pound of cocaine looks like when it's in somebody's blood stream.

Agreed, with the notable exception of "The Bonnie Situation"
That was some funny shit.

You're not alone. Reservoir Dogs blew me away, and when I first saw Pulp Fiction I thought it was pretty cool. It didn't hold up through a second viewing though. I do have to say that True Romance is a brilliant bit of writing on his part, and probably my favorite piece of work from him.

I think he has done some truly good films, but largely I do agree. He is a one trick pony who keeps churning out the same shtick over and over again.
