In the event anyone has missed this, it was busy bouncing around in my head for the past few days. I needed to let it out and share it with you fine folk.

Very funny. I've often remarked to people that Portland reminds me of Seattle in the 90s (I mean that in a good way). I know there's a bit of piss taking in this video, but I actually kind of dig it.

Seattle used to be a very funky town. The late 90s and 00s turned it into a very wealthy town and it has made Seattle a very beautiful and fancy place. Sure, there is still some gritty culture to be found, but it is nothing like it used to be. Portland has certainly undergone a substantial amount of transformation (just look at the Pearl), but it seems to have retained a lot more of the funkyness that Seattle lost as it got successful.

Or maybe Portland just seems like that because I'm a tourist there.

I feel like Olympia is more 90s than Portland. Or maybe just early 90s, to be specific.
Regardless, the video is pretty spot on by my reckoning.
