California City. Yes. Been there--not far from me. High Desert, which is my kind of country. IIRC, has a well-stocked, lootable grocery store. Close to Edwards AFB, so lots or weaponry. Hijack some full, fuel tankers. And Billy's beard for added protection.

That would be an awesome hideout/compound, but for zombiepocalypse, wouldn't one of those old retired ICBM silos be more easily-defensible?
