Anyone living in or visiting the Seattle area needs to make seeing this place a priority!
I haven't seen anything so astonishing, beautiful, and massive in quite some time. It's an epic tableau of decaying, yet functional technology from another age. It's every steam punk's wet dream, and the location every filmmaker, photographer, or event planner wishes was available for their weird, dark, projects.

It's easy enough to tack this excursion onto a Smarty Pants brunch, and seems as solid an excuse to rally the troops and descend as any...
