Wow. With the number of soldiers coming home with TBI's and so forth, with this technology we can not only make them carry more shit into battle, but when they get all fucked up they can walk again. Hopefully.
Seriously, i think this is great stuff but I strongly disagree with the immediated appeal to weaponize something that can be used to great advantage to do tremendous good.

The funding for these kinds of things comes from the Pentagon, it's not so much that they're weaponizing a great civil tech as finding profitable civil offshoots to a great weapon.

I, for one, think this is a case where awesome isn't hyperbole. Her laughs as she came out on stage really tell it all. Very cool.
