for making this City too damned expensive to live in. Seriously, 2k a month for 1 bedroom (ssssmall!). What do the people who can afford such a rent do for a living?!!

The rent is too damn high.

If it weren't for the rents down there I probably would have moved down there a long time ago.

my client just called me. he's showing a studio apt on the G(oogle) bus line. he listed it at a premium $1395 per month (like 300 sq feet-tops!). he ran out of applications in 12 minutes. The applicants bid it up to 1650 per month . . . . fuck you google employees!
