This gives me a tiny sliver of hope. Lupus ain't leukemia, but any research into immune system tweaking might eventually yield something beneficial for me and others in my position.
Fuck it! Bring on the nanites!

gg, I'm just curious if you've ever looked into diet as a possible means to dealing with autoimmune diseases such as lupus. There is a diet that works well for arthritis, among other things. It takes a lot of discipline and can cost more than eating regular crap off the store shelves but still, you are what you eat.

I don't know about lupus, but you'd be amazed what eating the right stuff can do...

Indeed, it's something I've attempted my whole life, but it takes more money and discipline than I have, plus there's no real set diet plan for dealing with lupus. It's easy to pick the tomatoes off my hamburger, not so easy to follow a strict diet of healthy ingredients, especially when I'm on Prednisone, which makes it seem more than just okay to eat EVERYTHING I CAN GET MY FUCKING HANDS ON!!!
