That is a classic example of shitty parenting. The little girl obviously learned her method from--you guessed it, mom and dad. Or mom and boyfriend, mom and ex-boyfriend, mom and several ex-boyfriends...
Monkey see, monkey do. I don't think a lot of people realize how much children pick up from adults. Humans are wicked intelligent. Unfortunately so.

Wowzers. I had an ex who was that way about kids. This was after the discussion in which we both expressed our desire not to have kids, and after the proposal. Didn't go through with the marriage, and she eventually found a father. Dunno if he was willing or not, but last I heard they weren't married or planning on it.
And yeah, the adult behind the camera is a fucking psycho.
