Bastards. All of those damn deer/moose/antelope things. I've hit my share (1 is enough, thank you), dodged a few, and have seen many hanging out by roads ready to attack.

The only good deer I saw was during winter camping many moons ago. It went perfectly with a stick of butter, onions, and peppers.

ON the way home from DOOM I passed a guy gutting a deer he'd just killed with his truck, a full size Chevy with a now-fucked up front end. I'd have done the same thing.

For under $100.00 you can do your part for reducing the forest-rat population:

...and ammo is cheap too!

So tempting. Living on an island with overpopulation of underfed forest rats makes this option quite attractive, especially when they try to attack when you're out enjoying a nice road.
Told my mom she needed a surplus Mauser after complaints about deer in the garden and apple trees. Too bad the neighbors are so close otherwise she just might've.

Lucky for me, the indigenous Redneck population keeps our deer in check. Nature has a beautiful balance.
