i really think that was a pretty cool way to spend the day with the kids. Sure, this is a pretty upper middle class venture (judging from the 14 room house, pool, etc.,), but I still think it's awesome to have a dad that involved in doing something fun and whacky with the kids.

That's pretty cool. I used to spend hours with my uncle building elaborate setups out of his extensive collection of track bits. I was completely devastated when I arrived at G-ma's house one summer after he'd left for college and found that she'd sold off the whole collection at a garage sale.
