so here i am in the home stretch. and what have i done?

i have done gone and decided to apply to grad school in scotland.

by december i will have a bachelor and a tefl cert to teach esl. which even as useful as that cert should be, in this economy in this effed up state it is worthless thanks to the education cuts, and thus teaching job cuts. i have no choice but to head out of the country.

i hope they'll let me bring my chihuahua, the kids are (almost) all on their own now.

Probably have to put the dog through some kind of quaranteen (months most likely) to bring it into a foreign land. Shit, when I was interviewing for a job in Hawai'i I found out my dogs would be in a shelter for six months before they'd be allowed in.

Good luck. I keep telling my kids they'd be better off in another country. The don't seem to get it.
