I'm left suspecting that the true motivation for this uh invention is something along the lines of the old 'where's his/her other hand' gag.

I'm blown away honestly. So much funtionality, so little material. I think it's natural to be amazed by things that transform, and things that can radically change size.

Imagine if a big, sleek expensive maxi scooter or even touring motorcycle had a similar personal rainfly that was designed in from the start and matched the contours of the bike, but folded away like this?

the manufacturer of this item has probably already received a complaint from The Motor Company about the unauthorised usage of their signature Orange and Black colour scheme.
