Help me put a price on my KLX650.

I've gotta punt this bike ASAFP (so I can move, and have $$ for when ICGF shows up July 2nd).
1995 KLX650c
The good:
Only 3700 miles.
Factory plate that the DMV can never take away (kind of a big deal in Cali).
Renthal bars
Pro taper risers
Works Performance remote reservoir shock
Racetech gold valved forks (suspension is set up for a 210-220 pound person).
Racetech fork sub tanks with quick bleeders
Sprocket Specialists steel front, and hard anodized aluminum rear sprocket (both barely used) with 15/49 gearing
Renthal gold chain (also barely used)
KLX650A cam
Wide IMS foot pegs
Kerker Exhaust (with spark arrestor) on custom midpipe.
FCR41 carb (see details below)
Fresh exhaust valves (also see details below)
Acerbis Rally Pro hand guards.
Braided steel front brake line
Cylinder head breather mod (factory set up sends oil into the airbox; airbox fills up, bike smokes. The mod fixes this problem).
Ricochet aluminum skid plate.
Dunlop D606 tires. Front with ~95% tread left, rear with ~85% tread left. No chunks or thrown knobs.
Ridiculously bright headlight bulb.
New-ish fork seals.
Probably one or two things I've forgotten to mention.
The bad:
It's a dirtbike; it has seen the ground. It needs new fork leg guards, and potentially a new headlight shroud (missing a small piece). Other than that, it's got the usual dirtbike scratches; no cracks or breaks.
The spark arrestor is home made. It has never given me any problems (like, it's not gonna fall out or anything) and has passed inspection at a lot of the local riding areas. I personally feel 100% confident in riding with it, but it's not strictly 100% forest service approved either.
There are a few places where bolt holes have been stripped (see details below).
I let a friend borrow it, the friend parked it under a leaky tree, the tree dripped sap all over the seat, the sap got stiff, the seat eventually tore. It needs a new seat cover.
The funny: the pipe makes it sound exactly like a helicopter.
The details:
I picked this bike up in 2008. I am the third owner, and have put most of the miles on it. Most of those miles are in the dirt, or on Santa Cruz mountain back roads.
The original owner bought the bike and let it rot for most of its life. When he went to sell it, it wouldn't start, so he had "some guy" come and try to fix it. "Some guy" bolloxed the job, and the bike was sold bolloxed to the second owner. The second owner said "eff this, I've got two beemers" and just decided to stick with/ride those instead. I got the bike with just over a thousand miles, a dead battery, a bunch of missing hardware, stripped bolt holes (a collection I have since added to), blown out fork seals, and a completely plugged up carb.
After fixing it up and riding it stock, I decided to mod it out. I got impatient with jetting the FCR and went for a ride. In doing so, I fried the exhaust valves ever so slightly (I do mean slightly). Only thing that gave me an indication was a tiny bit of smoke that would come out a few moments after starting, and then quickly go away.
I took the bike to Factory Pro tuning in San Rafael (a very highly regarded tuning shop), who got the carb very close to where it needs to be, but didn't dyno tune it because of the valves. Being as it ran perfectly with the old carb (aside from the slightly smoky start up) I've been riding it with that.
I put the new valves in and re-installed the FCR, but haven't had a chance to ride it yet.
What do y'all think it's worth? Right now, I feel like I've been fucking with this thing for so long, it just feels like a bucket of problems. BUT, aside from some dirtbike rattiness and the crap about the carb, it's an almost brand new bike with tons of money sunk into it.
On one hand, I wanna spruce it up and ask $3500 for it. On the other hand, I want to strip the FCR and the handguards off of it, and sell it ratty for $2k.
Bear in mind, I've basically got two weeks to move out of my house and into a storage unit, and I'm basically flat broke.
