Looks like we're going to be in your neck of the woods Aug 2-5 and were thinking about catching some real Chicago blues. You plugged in to that scene at all, want to join us? Got the bandwidth for a beer or some such any of those days?

Its not hugely my scene, but I will tell you this: House of Blues is a name only. Buddy Guy's is ACTUALLY OWNED AND OPERATED BY BUDDY FUCKIN' GUY. 
So yeah, plan on the latter.
Secondary, I'm mostly available later that Thursday. Possibly Friday, not at all sat or sun. So yeah, PM me your number and shiznit. Or call me. Ate-fore-slevin, 312, SLAY. I won't miss a chance to hang out.

Sounds good, we'll be landing around 2-2:30 Thurs afternoon and will be staying with friends in Brookfield. No idea where that is in relation to you. Not sure what the ladies have worked up activitywise. I know we're catching Second City one night, not sure which. I'll try and figure out what the plan is and if bandwidth permits we can hook up for a beer or some such.

Thanks for the intro to Italian beef, hope the TN acquisition exceeded expectations. We never did make it out for blues, got soaked in the thunderstorm that blew out everyone's power and were too soggy to want to sit in a club. Next time.
