Of all arguments directed at the homophobes as to why gay marriage should be introduced, this must be the single most effective. Of course, it's useless unless the gay dudes start threatening to marry all the straight girls.

Truly, the chaps in the last video, they have a bit of a point. These days, when marriage is socially optional, unlike it was in the past, marrying away all the women isn't that much of a threat.
But they do ignore that, before marriage, there is dating, and if all the most desirable women end up with an über-hot gay guy who tends to their every need, this might end up disturbing the straight fellas after all.
The statistics I'm aware of indicate that about 5% of the population is, in fact, gay. Discounting all the lesbian women, the course of action described here would deplete the pool of potential female mates by 1/19th, probably the most desirable 1/19th.
Of course, on the other hand, the most desirable 1/19th of men would be covered with the lesbians (literally...), so in the end, everything remains unchanged. Bit of a bugger, at first I thought that idea was a bit brilliant. BUT...what if, rather than going after the young and thus far un-married women, gays went after women who already are married. Specifically those married to those influential in their communities, politicians, priests, etc. Homewrecking for the cause.
Not only loosing the marriage, which must be shiny and happy for a politician or priest, but loosing your wife to a gay guy? The public shame, she'd rather be with a gay dude than her husband. Surely, the threat of that public humiliation alone could convince a few conservatives to change their mind on gay marriage.

However, the whole thing leaves the question: is there a response from the straight women, also?
