...youse knob gobblers.
Not spent as much time here as I would like, but, yeah, you chaps are the tops. All the best for the coming year, ride safe, and keep on carrying on!

So you're in 2013 while I'm in 2012?
How fitting that I'm watching the Doctor Who Christma special as I type this.
So, a happy new year, from what's left of the old year, to you!
Now, to everyone else who also has a few hours left in the old year, I'd give the traditional wishes in German, but wishing someone a "good slide" in a motorcycle forum wouldn't be in good taste, I think, so I wont.
But enjoy the rest of the old one and have a good new one everyone! This place is, indeed, the tops!

Right now, right outside my fucking window, all the town's Beirut Tribute Bands are lining up to play a medley of Shock and Awe, and they only know half the chords. I've got my headphones on, and still I can't hear half the dialogue of the video I'm watching, what with the Battle of Britain re-enactors getting warmed up before midnight.
Oh, and there's loud fireworks, too!
...
I fucking hate new-year's, and either I or it is getting worse every year.
I've had the same box of firecrackers, still sealed in the original wrapping, stowed away for the past six years, that was the last time I enjoyed all this crap.

2013 hang over looks exactly the same as 2012's. I'm just glad I now know I can still stay up and awake until 6 in the morning.
Have a good one until 2014.

There has been a light drizzle of rain going on since last night.
At 3PM, this is what I saw outside. My bedroom window is the middle one on the 2nd floor (or is it the first for you? The one that isn't an Auto parts store.).

That mud that you see? That wasn't there yesterday. And that isn't regular mud from around here. It's the remnants of the sand they use to stretch the blackpowder or whatever it is they use these day in firecrackers.
This was what the rain hadn't washed away in the preceeding twelve hours or so, and that isn't just a superficial stain, that clump of mud is about half an inch thick in places.
Yes, there were fireworks yesterday...especially around 2 AM, when some idiots decided that, as the rest of the city finally went quiet, it was now quiet enough to properly appreciate the noise of their own firecrackers.

here's to riding more, living more, and stressing less.
