Hm. The two-stroke diesels of that size aren't anything new, are they? This is all about that dual fuel thing, isn't it?
This one is a little more interesting, I think.
It's a hot-bulb two-stroke. Almost, but not quite, entirely like a diesel, and a two-stroke. A 10,000 and change cc two stroke. Apparently used to be popular on Texas oilfields. See, the hot-bulb engine, it'd run on actual crude.

Is it me or ... wouldn't this be the perfect engine to build a sidecar-outfit around? That's what I find so interesting about it...
