Have you ever noticed when it is a 50 dereeday in winter , ya take the bike out , and ride to work , and people think your a nut .
Some folks ask "are you riding just to say you rode in feb. " and
the people that ride snowmobiles when it below 0 degree give you a strange look and ask " is this a cry for help?" . But the next day you a couple more bikes roaming around, and some dumbass in shorts and sandles .
Just wondering if it is just me or if other people get the same reaction .

When I lived in the frozen tundra of MN we had a small group that would go for a ride on Jan 1st downtown for lunch. Were we nuts….. Did we get some strange looks, you bet but the folks down at Bobs Java Hut loved it. I know you don’t have much snow to speak of this winter and with a 50 degree day I would hit the parkway around the lakes to see how many ladies were out. I do miss something’s from MN for sure.
are you

The slackjawed yokel look from the SUV drivers just adds to the fun of winter riding, especially when it is below freezing. I don't commute yet on a bike, but I'll ride in the evenings if it's above twenty F.
