Since you know Google is going to own your ass one day, why not sign up for an email address now?
I have 49 invites, ping me at misskellen at gmail dot com if you would like one.
and please be putting something gmail/utmc related in the subject line as to not make me think you are trying to sell me porn, or give me an exorbitant amount of money. (side note: i have received a whopping total of NO spam since i've had this address....).

How the fuck did you get 49 invites? I only got 4 or so when I signed up a few months ago.

I also suddenly have 50 gmail invites (up from 6!).... so if muppet runs out, pm me and I'll send you one post-haste.

Bloody hell.......I had four invites left, and now I have 50 all of a sudden......I guess they didn't get the exponential growth they were hoping for.....
The nice thing about gmail (and really the only point in it's favour) is the fact that google and thus gmail is likely to be around for a few decades to come, so a gmail account is one way to be contacted that will stay alive for much longer than usual. But you have to get in early or you will end up with a name like
steve.smith95723953@gmail.com.......
BTW, should muppet or smashinator run out of invites, drop me a pm for an invite.

GMAIL is still in beta mode, so the fine people at google have made it "invite only" to get an email address with them. i'm sure it's all explained in detail at
www.gmail.com I think that they have some other special reasons, but I don't remember them.
WANT ONE? it really bothers me that i can't get rid of them

Maybe it's a good idea to register in the early stages so I don't end up as
