..you know who you are! Its high time you replaced the tire tool ya busted at the DAG. Its a 5-10 minute fix BUT not my responsability!! Its tire changing season and all people needing tires changed will be refered to YOU to PAY for a shop to do this.

You have had Months to rectify this.

GET OFF YOUR DEAD ASS AND TAKE CARE OF IT!! Nothing is free Bubba and you have been carried far enough!!
PM or call me to let me know what arrangments you WILL make and GODDAMN SNAPPY TOO!!

I'd hate to restict DAG to everyone because YOU can't take care of shit. Your name will made public in two weeks time and reviled to no end....or take care of this and live in anonimity of your slack-ass ways.

Thank you.

saw ya at the Bean...No reply...No "I'll fix it this week". You think I'm kidding about exposing and reviling you? You think I WON'T make a scene? You are fucking up a good thing for a lot of people. You claim "the hook up", lets see you "suck it up" and fix the damn tool. Quit being a pain in the ass slacker.

.Take care of this NOW.

Hmm, I was thinking about it....... they might think it's been taken care of as despite expressing my displeasure at the situation I had said that I was working on finding a hard to find bolt. Of course I never found the bolt and when I tested the threads they were fucked anyway. I guess not a high priority for me when I won't need to change a tire until July at the best.

That being said, it doesn't excuse the half assed fix that didn't work the first time.

If it needs to be known: The proper bolt stock was a 5/16th 18-thread bolt, 2&1/4" long. Low profile button head allen key head, Hardened steel of course.

If it's urgent, anyone needing to mount a tire can do it at my place. I'll be around all day tomorow. I've got the same widget mountain does, and a Dunlop style rotation balancer I made. Just do me a favor and call before ya show. Just to make sure I didn't pop out for a bite or sumfin. :)

OK well this is the first time I've been on the board in god knows how long and after all the "hints" I can safely say it was probably me that popped the bar.

Mountain my apologies the last time we talked I was under the impression that you had it pretty well taken care of.

Pat thanks for knocking that out, however rather than hinting around on a board that hasnt seen my presense in some time how bout trying a "Rick your fix didnt work you need to get that taken care of" and it would have been, hell I've got a tap and die set at the house.

Expose and revile away it'll probably be a few more months before I'm this bored at work again

Ok, To clear some air.

Yes, this pissed me off. This is the kind of thing that makes me say fuck it, and not bother even remotly tring to make any kind of community space. And I have been causioned or warned by several that this is the kind of thing these "social experaments" turn into. All I tried to say in my previous post is that the persons responsible may not realize there was still a problem, as I was trying to take care of it, and that I didn't realize the extent that it was fucked, thus is wasn't taken care of.

Pat, I appologise if anyone took this as you being over zelous, or of this issue not being important to the existance of the DAG. For the record he sounded mild compared to what kind of shit he had to hear out of me........................... thanks for your patiencs pat.

Everyone else...........

When I got back home last time a couple of things tweeked me.

one: Kam's bike was in the exact state it was in when I had left. I was of a mind to leave it in the alley. Seriously. I understand that people have life issues, but those life issuses shouldn't impact my space unless it has something to do with me.
That said, I've been fine with projects taken place in the DAG. As long as they come in, get worked on in a way that they will soon be gone. A fine example was Mel and the sportster, from basketcase to ridden home in about a month. Untouched taking up space for months, not ok. Special note to Tank- your bike is an exception as we talked about everything beforehand, even tho I give you shit about it to prod you allong.

two: The tire bar. Rick, Thumper, et al. were changing out tires when it happened. I was there. I said no problem go fix it. The fix was half assed. It failed during the evening of the last tinker. Those who've been by know that I'm trying to create a good working shop. I'm trying to aquire good tools, including the basic things that might only come in handy once in a while but when you need it, it's there. If something breaks it's not a big deal as long as it's replaced or fixed as good or better than it was.
Rick: You knew it was a bad fix, I said so the next day. I understand that you couldn't find the right bolt and did a temp fix, but don't leave me and others that wish to use tools with something that isn't right. I understand you didn't know that I didn't get it taken care of, however the point is that it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Period.

three: Basic things to know about the DAG. Many of you have met my mom. She doesn't get around so well. She NEEDS to be able to get throught the garage to take out the garbage. If things need to get left in the garage even for a short time make sure there is a path to the alley. Also, make sure things are stable. If anything is tipped over or such, it's on you. Those that have seen her try to locomotate know what I mean.
The obvious always needs to be said. Clean up after yourself. Hell, clean up period.
Replace consumables, no seize, carb cleaner, degreeser, rags, dremmel tools, what ever. If there is a name on it don't use it with out asking whom ever it belongs to. Hey you, draind the tank...... means you, drain the airtank. Also, take your old parts / trash / whatever home. Thumper has been kind enough to manage the oil barrel in the past. It's apreciated.

All that said.

During those periods that I am gone.. Ban Guzzi is the keeper of the key. If he doesn't have time too bad, if he's not in the mood, too bad, if he just doesn't feel like it, yep you guessed it...... TOO BAD.
BG is doing this as a favor to me, and in extention to whomever may get to use the DAG, please keep that in mind.

Thanks for you attention, hope this helps clear any wedgies. If anyone has any issues with this direct them to me. PM me or Email me a number to reach you and I will call you.

With all this negative talk I want to add something positive. I would like to thank you Mountain for giving us this great space and the use of your tools. It’s a wonderful and generous thing. I know I have used to fix my bike at least one and many more times to help others and hang out.

Mountain is right. Ban and him should need to tell us to do the right thing and to support what’s best for us. So bring over an extra bottle of oil when you’re changing it, leave an extra tire plug at the DAG for the next guy 8) and thank Mountain and Ban for doing this for us.

I second Loki's post with thanks and helmets off to ya. We all appreciate the space, the tools, and the hospitality. ban guzzi - despite your periodic rants and blunt nature, I think it says a lot about you that Mtne is entrusting you and only you with the key. Lemme know if you need help w/ Tank's tank!
