The awesome thing about that article is that it signifies that popular culture is moving away from the popularity of "metrosexual"/girly men and back towards men who are actually, uh, manly.

Now all we need to do is get rid of SUVs and the world will be a much better place.

I don't mind the metros either.. Just as long as they keep sipping their appletini's and leave the beer for me.

As for chicks who dig dudes on bikes.. Yeah, sort of. Has anybody here ever taken a modern sportbike out on a Saturday night? The only attention i've ever gotten while on one is the "wrong" sort of attention. I.E. high-school girls yelling at me. Sorry, but that does nothing for my self esteem. I wish i could say the same for some of my friends though.

Guys with motorcycles are the only match for ...girls with motorcycles!

What they fail to mention, however, is that when you're a woman with a motorcycle, and you hang out with a bunch of guys with motorcycles (even when all of them are just your FRIENDS, you're pretty much off-limits - no guys even want to approach. Hmmm...What's the best way for me to resolve this problem??? If I ride with other gals, does this make me look like I favor the femmes? I guess it's a no-win situation.

It must be an area thing, cause even though I do get the High School girl attention, the most real attention, as in without the giggles comes from the late 20's to mid 40's women around here. They will walk right up as your parking the bike, or as in a few cases, hand me their personal business cards at stoplights with naught but a smile.
