on closer inspection, it looks to be covered with sound and radar deadening tiles. Maybe even with laminer flow casting into them...
and the forward facing radar? Is that what that is, partially, is under the tarp?

and check out the crumple in the main part of the bulk head. It looks like they hit almost dead-on....

Damn that is a cool site! I played around with some of the digital body stuff, and it is really cool! I also liked the articles on "dirty bombs". Interesting stuff...

Wouldn't that be sonar? Even when surfaced, a submarine's nose is usually under water so radar wouldn't make that much sense in that spot....I think.
