I gleened this from my Sportster discussion group. All in reference to a Sportster vs. Monster reliability debate, started by one of our Sportster owners who lives just north of the Ducatti plant over there in Italia. Just had to share.

**In disclaimer and advanced defense, all motorcycle brands have a history, and some will never outrun it. E.g; no matter what I tell a person who was raised on Jap or Euro bikes, they will talk about Harley's constantly leaking oil. When the truth is, not a single Harley owner I know has a leaky bike, but the two metrics we ride with, noone wants to be behind, because you'll get hosed from their constant dripping.**
