UTMC on the History Channel...

So I'm sitting in front of the TV with my Kleenex boxes on (touch me I'm sick)....too early for [adult swim] or simulated soft porn skin-a-max sex (yes Slash6, life is too short for softcore porn)...so I turn on the history channel...oddly enough they're not showing anything that involves the Washington Generals of the History Channel, the Luftwaffe....nope..it's their Modern Marvels show or something..."Mountain Highways"....They talk about I80 over Donner Pass....I70's Eisenhower Tunnel....and finish with Pikes Peak Highway....So they show some footage from the 2004 PPIHC...cars rushing up the side of the mountain (no bikes

)...and I see something that catches my eye....the letters UTMC written in the snow...
Only there for a second, but it made me giddy like a school girl...medication.

I was watching that last night. I had no idea that UTMC had marked turf in that area, very cool. I do like vintage car racing and that is why I stopped surfing just long enough to see what was going on. The last time I went up to Pikes Peak, I was so pissed because it is like $28 a car load just to go up to the top. Bastards. All of the fun free things to do in Colorado are slowly becoming commercialized. Mt Evans is the same way.

Looks like BeemerPat has put a significant dent into his 15 minutes of fame with that snow carving. Cool! All your DiscoveryTV base are belong to us, BeemerPat.

I had
two boxes of Kleenex...they were empty and on my feet...to keep the germs away from me...nasty germs...they're everywhere....you can't see them, but they are there...you can wash your hands 3 or 4 times an hour and they are still there...Kids are the worse...covered in them, little germ factories...I'd wrap them in plastic wrap, but the parents always give you that "Ashley can't breath" bullshit...you try and explain why, and how they are little diseased vermin and how they are covered in microbes that get into your brain through your eyes and make you buy SUV's, register republican, and shop at Pottery Barn, and they look at you like you are crazy or something...parents piss me off, like this guy at the mall is all in my face because his kid was trying to blow bubbles in the urinal to summon the magical water pixie that gives out free candy and XBox360's...like it's my fault his kid is a naive little bastard and believes anything some guy in the bathroom tells him. I wonder if the kid ever tried to talk to the magical gnomes that live under tractor trailer tires all-night truckstops...probably get bitched at for that one too.
I'm also out of lotion....but that is a different story entirely, and I'm not at liberty to discuss it as long as the case is still pending...but I've returned the goat to it's proper owner, and sent the afghan to the cleaners...some people are really attached to their crocheted arts and crafts.....

The first half of that day was sweet, and then the snow came. The corner we were on was at 12,800 ft and we caught 3 in of snow at lunchtime. They ran the second leg of the race only halfway and we were stuck until 4p.m. Wouldn't trade it for nothing. BTW the only reason we got the press coverage was that Jesse James was racing a Monster Garage creation that day. There were not heli camersa at all last year but the weather was gorgeous.
One last thing: GAUSS, it's time to try Decaf, seriously we're worried about you man.
