According to Amazon.com:
Carlton Mellick III is one of the leading names in the new BIZARRO genre uprising. In only a few short years, his surreal counterculture novels have drawn an international cult following despite the fact that they have been shunned by most libraries and corporate bookstores. Though frequently compared to David Lynch, Kurt Vonnegut, and even Lloyd Kaufman, Carlton Mellick III is unlike anyone you’ve experienced before. He sings for the band "Popes That Are Porn Stars" in Portland, OR.

Stacius,
Satan Burger is my favorite so far, The Menstrating Mall 2nd, Electric Jesus Corpse 3rd. Have read a few more of his but not all of them are as good as these. I haven't read the authors you mentioned. I have been a fan of Bentley Little and Jack Ketchum for a few years and recently got into the bizzarro genre of fiction. I will check out your authors as I try to read on or two books per week. Hopefully, I can find the work of these guys at the pubic library, as Mrs. Bullfrog is tired of me running up the Visa at amazon. I have listed a few of my favorite books on my www. Let me know if you have read any of them.

Stacius,
Satan Burger is definately worth a read. The Menstrating Mall is also great as it mocks all types of stereotypical people. The wife and I have all of the books in the Dark Tower series, but I couldn't get myself to read beyond Wizard and Glass. She read them all and loved them. On my next days off, I need to go to the library and check out the authors you listed. I generally find an author, read everything they have, and then I am rather lost when I try to find another author. BTW, I checked out your www....cool site. I was in Port Orchard for about a week in the summer of '96 when my brother was stationed in Bremerton. The weather was uncharacteristically sunny, with only one day of clouds and drizzle. Beautiful country you have up there. Take care.
