If you cannot Debauch because you get an IP blacklist error, try Debauching again time. It may work immediately, it may take a few attempts. It will work eventually, I don't think I had to click debauch more than three times. Someone is overzealous at our hosting company, but only on the first couple of attempts.
If you have problems logging in, posting, or doing anything else, please get in touch.
You know the email (if you don't, see in the registration info below), you know where to find the Administerrerrerr on the Midget Circus.
Some unpleasant miscreant was firing incessant database queries at our server, which forced the Legal Department of our hosting company, via their Abuse subdivision, to shut us down. No I have none.
All I can do it button the hatches, and tighten up a few things. Such as time limits on how long you may take to compose a post and hit Debauch! As of 24/01/10, I've set that at 30 minutes for now.
To restrict further overloads, any unregistered users had to be locked out.
How do we know who is or isn't an unregistered user?
By forcing anyone who wants in to Log In.
Is that annoying?
Yes. But there's only so much the Administerrerrerr can do to keep this place running.
Again, if you have any problems: get in touch.

First fix:
Because the board got shutdown again because of a load of database, I had to fettle with the settings again.
As part of that, the server no longer stores what topics you have or haven't read.
IT IS STILL RECORDED!
But now, that information lives in a delicious cookie, rather than the forum database.
Upside: this should reduce the load of database.
Downside: if you use multiple devices to access the board, or you reject delicious cookies, you won't always have that information cookie. But the New Posts feature should take care of that.
PLEASE NOTIFY THE ADMINISTERRERRERR ABOUT ANY PROBLEMS!
- open the menu at the top
- hit New Posts to see what's actually new and browse the new stuff from there
- go back to the Forum Index
- open the menu at the top again
- click Mark forums read
this will zero the unread anything for you, so you can strive forth into the exciting world of the new cookie thing.

I want to note that was not me dancing, if it was I'd have the Highpoints on. Yes Nashua still sucks, they salt and sand the hell out of the roads, so when it does warm up for a day or two you need knobbies.

I get more than a couple hundrit on the odo and I'm walking around afterwords like a post-colonoscopy patient with a not so gentle doctor. The Shifty Jesus wrote:Yeah, the problem is Eric goes out for a short ride and ends up in Virginia.

Mr. FBR has 2 things working for him:
#1 he has his youth on his side, those kids can bounce back from anything, give him a year or 2 and things may change. (I really doubt it though)
#2 He has been brainwashed, err opps, I mean conditioned so if he's not hurting he's not having fun, (for example see the incriminating pics )

That movie was fuggin hilarious! Ya know, people used to think we were odd because we screw gals in the arse to get the snow to melt from the streets ( [url]http://www.blackletter.org/gallery/pave ... e.html/img] ). The thing is, it works, it keeps you from being canned up inside for months at a time. It prevents dancing in your apartment in full leathers and helmet, and now that we've seen the horrors of it, I'm glad we sacrificed so many behymen over the yers
On a side note, at least the guy can dance...I can barely walk!

I went out a couple of times with snow on the ground but not on the streets. Salty and sandy as hell over here in mass too.Flat_Black_Rat wrote:Don't get it twisted I've has the bike out a few times, once in the snow, but its just not as much fun, thats all I'm saying...
When I'm gonna ride in the snow I prefer the XR with screws in the tires. Right tool for the job and all.

I have kind of the same reputation for going out for a little ride and ending a few states away. It's gotten to the point that even if I think I am coming back in an hour I still strap the tent and bed-roll to the back of the bike.

Sacramento has a winter season? What, does it drop below 55 degrees?
I wintered over in San Francisco riding a scooter when I was 18 and had no gear. It was cold as hell, but certainly no reason to hang up the helmet for the season (I won't go into what suppressed trolly tracks and grated-metal bridges do to you at 35mph, though
).
