Damn, I wish there were film footage of this. One would hope that decapetation occured, but from what it sounds like that wouldn't have injured a vital organ.

Oh that is golden! I had a experience when I was in Denvah that was almost that good.
I was at a gas station on Broadway, right off the Miracle Mile. As I hopped on the shiny red R100GS that Disco was so kind to loan me for the week, I noticed a fella get out of a large chevy truck, not too different from the one that ran me over a few years ago. It was a nice feeling knowing that the GS could probably go anywhere that truck could go, yet I wouldn't risk killing anyone in the process and it was a helluva lot cheaper to gas up too. As I mused, the fella walked over to me and asked if I could spare some change for gas.
No shit.
A million snyde and cruel remarks wolfpacked across my frontal lobes, but I just smiled and gently told him "no", like he was a puppy that was about to chew on a pair of shoes. Turns out that the GS can actually get to one place that the truck couldn't, the road.
