What will the men of the United States do if the dark overlords of censorship can digitally filter out our movie smut?

I, for one, am forming a protest group to combat this.

My newly-formed porno-rights organization,
Digital Untruth of Movie Blurring & Filtering Undermines Carnal Knowledge, or D.U.M.B.F.U.C.K., will bring the truth about digital filtering and blurring to the sheltered, conservatively-reared (and hopefully well-spanked) youth of this country.

Of course I may be arrested and jailed in this struggle, but dammit, somebody has to stand up for Hollywood. They have the constitutionally-protected right to make huge piles of cash by exposing all the naughty bits of its prettier actors and actresses.

C'mon, you don't want chillens to see people fornicating. It's much healthier for them to see shit blowing up and people spraying bullets all over the place. ya know, good clean fun.

The differance between art and porno is if you jack off to it or not. I think trying to censor any form of entertainment is a waste of time... makeing something forbidden usually only serves to spike interest in it. Its always the bible thumping mother fuckers who spend $100 bucks a month spanking it to PPV porno. ( I worked in satelite TV.. its true as the day is too short for more than 8 baths).

If porno was all over, it would be as boring as the mini skirt... which i understand was once rather risque

We should start underground societies of people who now masterbate to dateline because porn has lost its flavor... just to see how the censors react.

How about this: Before the start of the movie, and on TV during the commercial breaks, a text should be put on sceen, accompanied by the voice of that guy who does "This is CNN" and did Lord Vader.
The message should be:
"Warning. This film contains SMUT! It is FILTHY! If you don't like that kind of thing, don't watch it. "

Well, as things go, I am not easily offended. You might say it is nearly impossible to offend me at all. It has been ages since I read anything I found personally offensive. Hence, I don't worry much about offending others.
However, when I, this morning, read what I had posted here yesterday I thought "This is probably offensive to others, or at least make them violently sick. Better take it down before people take umbrage."

What ever happened to the real smut scenes? I mean, from like late '80s Chris Lambert films? the movies may have sucked, but damnit, people got it on!

Since we're a good seven years since this thread begun I'm pretty sure the smut is safe... for now. In fact despite a multitude of shitty media oozing out of Hollywood in the interim there has been some pretty solidly watchable stuff in the last 3/4ths of a decade.

I am kind of wondering about why we're doing the timewarp but hey, why the fuck not?
