Because the board got shutdown again because of a load of database, I had to fettle with the settings again.
As part of that, the server no longer stores what topics you have or haven't read.
IT IS STILL RECORDED!
But now, that information lives in a delicious cookie, rather than the forum database.

Upside: this should reduce the load of database.
Downside: if you use multiple devices to access the board, or you reject delicious cookies, you won't always have that information cookie. But the New Posts feature should take care of that.

What was that film?

What was that film?

Post by DerGolgo » Fri May 08, 2009 7:59 am

Right, so a long while ago, maybe a year, maybe a little more, somebody posted the trailer for a motorcycle related comedy on this board.
As you know, when trailers get posted around here, thread titles are something like "This looks fun" or "Great new film!", and all the comments are also to that effect. So, basically, finding keywords that will help with the whole search thing is a pain in the ass.
Thing is, I just remembered that film, and I'm wondering why I haven't heard of it since.

What I remember from the trailer, the story went along the following line:
Three scruffy motorcyclists decide to go for a weekend in the country. There, among the green, green hills, they find a massive field of cannabis. They decide to come back with a van and load up.
When they do come back, they are not alone in the area: a gang of chopper-riding stereotypical bikers and a gang of sportsbike riders have converged in the area to have themselves a gang-war, and the three protagonists are caught in the middle.
The film was, I believe, british.

Does anyone remember the title of that film? Or the title of the thread where the trailer was posted?

I tried the search here and I tried the power-search on imdb, to no avail.

That is all.

Well, humorous, but fairly shite, too. Not saying it's terrible and stay away, but fairly shite...
